The New Yorker’s youtube channel has been rich with “woke af” messaging lately, and I’m super impressed that they are using their capital and social media platforms to make strong social justice video content.

I went into watching this video thinking, “…huh a positive spin on scrappers? Interesting… go on.” As the video progresses, it’s clear that the video is showcasing how hard it is to be a black man navigating the world wrapped in the context of scrapping.

Existing really shouldn’t be so hard. Really.
