Admission of an inner truth:

I struggle with wishing photographer friends well in their professional endeavors yet hating their untrained sophomoric work. To be honest I'm troubled that they are succeeding with their levels of craft and I am not.

I'm afraid this makes me a bad person.
I'm better than that. 

This doesn't mean my work isn't untrained or sophomoric, but neither am I asking people to give me money in exchange for my crap work.
