Daido Moriyama: Raw Power (3 Photos) | PDN Photo of the Day
This photo made me cackle out loud and... well, snork.
If this print were processed in photoshop I'd disregard it entirely, but that the glow around the figure of the boy is from darkroom handiwork, I appreciate it quite a lot. Darkroom stuff is magic, right up there with electricity and the power of water.
Photographer Diado Mariyama will have work on display here in PDX at Charles A. Hartman Fine Art January 20th through February 26th =) I'm gonna check that out.
